Today is Bell Let’s Talk day! Bell Let’s Talk, which began in 2010, is an initiative to get Canadians talking about mental health, removing the stigma surrounding mental health, and generating conversations around new ideas and hope for those suffering from mental anguish.
On March 1st, Camp Aftermath will launch its one year, three-phase program involving five veterans and first responders suffering with mental anguish. Our program focuses on providing long-term management of PTSD through volunteerism and the development of positive habits.
Camp Aftermath is dedicated to helping lift the stigma surrounding mental health and to assisting those facing challenges to harness their pain into purpose by helping others in need.
How you can help
There are currently many amazing programs that focus on helping veterans and first responders suffering from PTSD. If you believe in our cause, please help us make a difference in the live of five military veterans and first responders slated to experience our three-phased program in early 2019. You can donate to our campaign on Canada Helps.
