0n 11 October 2018, Aftermath Association’s Advisory Board member and Camp Aftermath’s mental health expert, Dr. John Whelan, and Aftermath Association’s Chairperson, Farid Yaghini, took part in a speaking event at the Ottawa Police Association. The speaking event was part of the First Responders Appreciation Week and was attended by first responders, veterans, doctors from various medical disciplines and mental health experts.

Dr. Whelan’s speech was well received by all those in attendance, and there were requests for further speaking engagements in the future. Stay tuned!
