As we near the end of 2017, Aftermath Association would like to thank all of our supporters for helping us raise over $3,000 this year. 2017 saw the idea of Camp Aftermath expand as we welcomed new board of directors members, dozens of additional volunteers, and forged partnerships with various like-minded organizations intent on supporting sufferers of PTSD as well as military veterans, active service members and the first responder community. The biggest moment of all came in November 2017 when we launched our inaugural crowd-sourcing campaign on GoFundMe! The overwhelming support for Camp Aftermath in the latter months of this year has certainly astounded us all.

Camp Aftermath will begin in 2018 with the first rotation of participants.

Our goal of raising $10,000 so we can launch #Roto0 is more attainable with every, single donation! All the money we raise will be used to help fund 5 participants next year as they embark on a life-changing, two-week journey, where they will be exposed to various forms of philanthropy. Camp Aftermath’s Costa Rica retreat will help the first rotation of service men and women suffering from PTSD regain their sense of purpose by giving them the opportunity to once again serve and contribute in meaningful ways.

We are grateful for all the contributions and support we have received so far in 2017. And Camp Aftermath has a big year ahead in 2018! Help us reach our goal of sending the first participants next year by giving a small gift to a future participant, to celebrate a brighter end to the year.
